In the Puez-Odle natural park on a via ferrata
Opened in June 2019, the "Les Cordes" via ferrata, or protected climbing route, takes you back to an old path used by farmers from the village of La Villa to lead their livestock to mountain pastures on the Gardenaccia plateau. The starting point of the via ferrata can be easily reached on foot from the church in La Villa or by taking the Gardenaccia chairlift. A challenging but thrilling route that takes you into the heart of the Puez-Odle natural park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The via ferrata is 400m long, spanning a height of 200m, and leads to the Gardenacia refuge, with stunning views of the massifs of Sasso Croce, Conturines and Lavarela. From here you can continue on mountain excursions over the peaks of Para dai Giai, Sassongher and Somamunt.
