Ice skating in Alta Badia

Ice skating is an attractive alternative to the main winter sports practised in Alta Badia and a great family activity. Even when enjoyed on an amateur level, skating can improve your balance and tone your muscles in a short period of time. Not far from Residence Les Contrades is the frozen lake of Sompunt (also accessible on foot), where you can skate or play curling among the snow-laden trees during the day or in the evening. The ice stadium in Corvara also has a lovely ice rink. You can hire skates at both venues.
